Back Home

We made it back! We are thankful for a safe journey and no issues with our connecting flight. We will update again once we've had a chance to adjust to the time change. We are excited to share more details about our trip soon. Thanks again for your support!

Wrapping Up

We can't believe that our time here is almost over!  So much has happened since our last update.  We apologize for not updating everyday; we have had some issues accessing the internet.  Today was our final day of summer camp.

Halfway through the week, a team from Texas joined us.  It was great to partner with this team.  They brought a lot of energy and talent, including Daisy the clown.  We were also joined by a high school teacher, Brenda, from California.  We've enjoyed getting to know her and working with her during the week.

Here are a few highlights we wanted to share:

Daisy the clown showing students how to make balloon animals.

Students creating phases of the moon using Oreos.

Students creating constellations out of pompoms and string after learning about stars and constellations.

Some students had afternoon swim lessons three days this week.

Students got to experience painting under desks after learning about Michelangelo and the Sistine Chapel.
